And everyone we&#8217;ve cooked these for has loved them too. The green chili wonton recipe originated from a restaurant in Louisville, where Greg&#8217;s from, called the Bristol Bar &amp; Grill. They used to get them as an appetizer when he was growing up, so we found a copycat recipe. They&#8217;re incredible.<\/p>\n<p>You can fry them in a deep fryer or in a skillet with heated oil on a stovetop. We&#8217;ve done it both ways and actually prefer the pan fried method.<\/p>\n<p>The avocado dipping sauce makes a ton! We usually half it or you can use the remainder as a dip for pita chips or tortilla chips.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to do it <a title=\"Original source\" href=\"http:\/\/www.food.com\/recipe\/louisvilles-green-chili-wontons-162247\" target=\"_blank\">(recipe from food.com)<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Blend the green chiles, jalepe\u00f1os and shredded cheese in a medium bowl.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Put two tablespoons of the cheese mixture on one corner of the wonton wrapper and fold that corner over. Fold the corners on the right and left.
